Sunetra Sarkar is a professor at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India. She received her PhD from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in 2005. She has worked at the Technical University of Delft, Netherlands, as a post doctoral researcher and a Rubicon fellow, and has also held visiting researcher positions in other universities. Her research interests include, nonlinear dynamics, reduced order modeling and data driven techniques, deterministic & stochastic treatment of nonlinear flow and fluid-structure-interaction problems.
