Paolo Tiso
Associate Editor
Senior Scientist and Chair of Nonlinear Dynamics at ETH Zürich, Switzerland
Paolo Tiso has been a Senior Scientist at ETH Zürich since 2015, affiliated with the Chair in Nonlinear Dynamics. Prior to this, he served as a tenured Assistant Professor at Delft University of Technology, within the Faculty of Mechanical, Material, and Maritime Engineering. He earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution in 2006, following his engineering studies at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (USA)
Paolo Tiso’s current research focuses on model order reduction for nonlinear structural mechanics and coupled problems, with particular emphasis on lightweight structures, thermoelastic aero-thermo-elastic systems, and jointed structures.
