Katrin Ellermann is head of the Institute of Mechanics at Graz University of Technology, Austria. She received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology, Germany, she and was visiting researcher at the University of California at Berkeley. Her research interests include non-linear and stochastic dynamics, multi-body systems and structural vibrations. Applications range from rotors, vehicles and offshore systems to biomechanics.
